Lindsey Seaver is the Director of Operations and Military Relations at the Institute for the Study of War. At ISW she runs the daily operations of the organization, including scheduling for Dr. Kagan and the ISW team. She serves as the point of contact for business matters and manages many of the projects of the Institute.
She also runs ISW’s Military Relations Program, which aims to expand and maintain ISW’s relationships with the U.S. military through the coordination of briefings, events, and requests for information. The program also works to keep veterans engaged in ISW content by developing partnerships with other military supporting organizations. She has organized and traveled to a number of pre-deployment briefings and exercises in support of U.S. military personnel.
Prior to joining ISW, she worked for a number of years as a manager and consultant in the hospitality industry, completed a cooperative education assignment at the Commonwealth Museum and Archives in Massachusetts, and interned as a legislative aide in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
She obtained her M.A. in International Relations and Religion from Boston University with a focus in security studies and Judaism and also studied at Brandeis University and Boston College. She received her B.A. in International Affairs and Political Science with a minor in History from Northeastern University. She has taught or studied abroad in Egypt, Switzerland, Belgium, Japan, India, Israel, Greece, and South Africa.
