Ukraine’s recent run of strikes on Russian oil refineries “have contributed to gasoline shortages across Russia that will likely raise inflation,” the Institute for the Study of War said on Tuesday.
“Russia struggled to keep up with domestic demand for gasoline even before recent Ukrainian strikes,” the U.S.-based think tank added. This will “likely result in increased consumer costs and increased business expenses across industries.
