Carolyn Moorman is a Middle East Security Researcher at the Institute for the Study of War. She focuses on Iran’s Axis of Resistance in Iraq, with an emphasis on Iraqi politics. Prior to joining ISW, Carolyn was an Analyst at the New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy, covering the Middle East and Africa.
Carolyn holds a Master of National Security and Intelligence from Texas A&M University’s Bush School of Government and Public Service, where she received a merit-based scholarship award. She has professional proficiency in Arabic. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Political Science and International Studies, specializing in Arabic and the Middle East, from Miami University of Ohio in 2021.
