ISW and ROA cordially invite you to a presentation and discussion featuring ISW Senior Fellow LTG James M. Dubik (Ret.) as presenter and Brookings Institute’s Director of Research Michael O’Hanlon as discussant, for an assessment of police training in troubled and developing states. The presentation will focus on the findings presented in LTG Dubik (Ret.) latest publication Creating Police and Law Enforcement Systems, which provides important lessons for developing indigenous police force capacity in Afghanistan, Iraq, and in future conflicts. The panelists have both recently returned from Afghanistan and will share their insights on the ongoing security force development and security sector reform efforts in theater.
