Event: Iraq’s Political Crisis

 
You are cordially invited to a briefing this Tuesday, May 25th, on Capitol Hill regarding the ongoing political crisis in Iraq.
 
Iraq's Ambassador to the U.S. and regional experts from Brookings and ISW will offer their analysis on the challenges facing government formation and the consequences of recent political developments. Questions include: what are the implications of the recent announcement of a broad Shi’a alliance? What are the impacts of government formation on the U.S. troop withdrawal? How are neighboring countries affecting political outcomes inside Iraq?
